3642293 - Insurance plan contribution rate changing unexpectedly when using Latest Enrollment Experience

Event if no change to the coverage is made the insurance plan contributions are updated after using the new benefits experience.

• SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Global Benefits

1. Access the new benefits experience for open enrollment
2. Select an Insurance plan where the contribution rate should not be updated unless a coverage change is made
3. Proceed without making any changes to the coverage
4. Observe that the contribution rate is updated to a new rate, which would only be applicable for a new enrollment 

The rates in the latest UI will be automatically updated even if the coverage is not updated.

In order to make sure employees know the rates are changed you can mention the rate change in the description of the benefit itself or describe this behavior in the description of the landing page of the guided enrollment process. 

If you would like to keep the rates unchanged you can try to create coverages for each year.
