3642313 - IPS Condition with =~ Regular Expression Not Triggering

Symptom

  • In SAP Identity Provisioning (IPS) transformations, a condition using a regular expression (regex) match operator (=~) does not evaluate to true even though the pattern appears to match part of the source value.
  • The IPS job runs without errors in the log.
  • The transformation step is skipped because the condition is evaluated as false.
