Symptom

  • Three custom fields (Airport ID, Airport Contract, and Airport Contract Responsible) created and enabled for the "Customer Core View" and all screens are not visible in the "Manage Customer Master Data" screen.

Environment

  • SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Create custom fields (e.g., Airport ID, Airport Contract, and Airport Contract Responsible) using the business context "Customer Core View (CUSTOMER_GENERAL)".
  2. Enable the custom fields for the "Customer Core View" and all screens.
  3. Navigate to the "Manage Customer Master Data" screen.
  4. Observe that the custom fields are not visible.

Cause

  • The issue occurred because the custom fields were created using the incorrect business context "Customer Core View (CUSTOMER_GENERAL)" instead of the correct business context "Master Data: Business Partner (BP_CUSTVEND1)".

Resolution

  1. Create the custom fields (e.g., Airport ID, Airport Contract, and Airport Contract Responsible) using the business context "Master Data: Business Partner (BP_CUSTVEND1)".
  2. Enable the custom fields for the required views and screens.
  3. Verify that the custom fields are now visible in the "Manage Customer Master Data" screen under the appropriate section (e.g., Basic Data).
