3642487 - Unable to post consumption via FM /SCWM/MFG_CONSUME_ITEMS_EXT

• Function Modules /SCWM/MFG_READ_STOCK_EXT and /SCWM/MFG_CONSUME_ITEMS_EXT are being called one after another by custom report to first select and display stock in Production Supply Area (PSA), then post Goods Issue (Consumption) in Advanced Production Integration for Single-Order Staging or Cross-Order Staging PMR (Production Material Request) item.
• Data in /SCWM/PSASTAGE or /SCWM/PSASTAGE2 are maintained for Product Groups.
• During the Goods Issue posting, system changes PMR item data. It clears the values of:
  • Staging Method (/SCWM/STAGING_METHOD),
  • Goods Movement Bin (/SCWM/GMBIN),
  • (GM Bin) Determin. Ind. (/SCWM/GMBIN_IND), and
  • Movement Control (/SCWM/MOVECNTRL).
• An item that was created with Staging Method Single-Order Staging (3) or Cross-Order Staging (2) becomes Not Relevant for Staging.
• In case of Single-Order staging, this leads to the problem that if the first Goods Issue was posted only for a partial quantity, but staging is completed, system won't allow Goods Issue posting via /SCWM/MFG_CONSUME_ITEMS_EXT (MFG API) and neither via standard application "Consumption by Production" (/SCWM/MFG_CONSUMPTION). Related error:
  • /SCWM/PWR006 No stock found in bin &1 for product &2; &3.
  • &3 parameter: "Product is not on bin or HU".
• In case of partial staging, the problem can cause that no more Staging Warehouse Tasks can be created and assigned stock (with PMR document reference) cannot be released.
