Symptom
The Material Price Analysis app shows unallocated values. Upon investigation, the root cause reveals that some production orders have an incorrect TECO (Technically Completed) date.
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Cause
The issue originates from a program error:
- When the
CLSD(Closed) status is set for a production order, the system incorrectly adjusts theTECOdate to match theCLSDdate.- Example: If an order was set to TECO in Period 6 and CLSD in Period 7, the TECO date gets retroactively changed to Period 7.
- This results in the WIP (Work in Process) value for Period 6 being unable to clear during Period 7, causing unallocated values.

System Fix:
A program fix addressing this issue will be delivered via CFD2508.02 (to be deployed on Oct. 19th). -
Preventive Guidance:
To avoid similar errors moving forward:- Do not set the
CLSDstatus for production orders until:- All outstanding balances on the order are cleared.
- All period-end closing processes are completed.

- Open a support ticket under component
CO-PC-OBJ-2CL. - SAP will correct the erroneous TECO dates through a backend report.
