3642715 - How to add a comment field to the time sheet entry section

Symptom

You wish to add a text field to the time sheet entry section to record user comments

Environment

  • Employee Central Time Sheet

Resolution

  1. Configure Object Definitions
  2. Select Object Definition and Employee Time Sheet Entry from the dropdowns
  3. Take action > make correction
  4. Create a new field, sample parameters in the below screenshot. These can be adjusted as per requirements.


  5. Save your changes
