3642930 - SAP Forms Service returns 301 error

Symptom

After configuring the SAP Forms Service on BTP multi-cloud environment for an ABAP scenario, the connection to Forms Service from the on-premise ABAP system is not working:

  • ADS test reports return the following exception:
    SYSTEM ERROR: SOAP Framework error: SOAP:1032 SRT: Wrong Content-Type and empty HTTP-Body received: ("HTTP Code 301  : Moved Permanently")(100.106).
  • 'Ping Web Service' on the Logical Port on SOA Management Console returns the following exception:
    Web service ping failed (RC=301). Service Ping ERROR: Moved Permanently
