Symptom
- "What's New" content does not display by default.
- This issue has been observed since the 2508 release update.
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 2508
Cause
Starting with the 2508 release, content management transitioned by default to the centralized "Manage News" application. As part of this transition, the "What's new" content is no longer displayed by default.
Resolution
- Customers must use the "Manage News" application to publish company-specific news content.

- Ensure that the required business catalog, SAP_CORE_BC_CUX_NWS_DSP_PC, is assigned to the relevant users. This catalog is part of the business role template SAP_BR_EMPLOYEE.
