3643099 - How to check CNV_NA_DI (Note Analyzer) in On-Premise ABAP-based systems for Datasphere Data Flows and Replication Flows

In Datasphere, errors occur in Data Flows or Replication Flows when connecting to on-premise ABAP-based systems.

The Note Analyzer is required to identify and implement all missing SAP Notes, and the implementation results should be collected for troubleshooting.

On-Premise ABAP-based systems include:

• S/4HANA
• BW NetWeaver
• SLT
• ECC

NOTE: For non-S/4HANA system, the DMIS component is strictly required to use Replication Flows feature. Please refer to SAP Note 2890171 for more information.

In case of any issues, first check for missing SAP Notes and implement the missing SAP Notes. We recommend that you keep your system up-to-date by regular checking for new SAP Notes; the system will be more stable and incident processing will be much faster. 

SAP Datasphere

Step 1. Install SAP Note 3016862 if it hasn't been implemented.

Step 2. Run transaction CNV_NA_DI (or Tx SE38, run program CNV_NOTE_ANALYZER_DI)

Step 3.  Save the result in local file and attach it to the case/incident. 

1. List -> Save/Send -> Local File
   
2. Choose "Rich Text" -> File name = <system name> + <time stamp>
   
3. Attach the file to the SAP case.

Note 1: Please NOT run CNV_NA_DI if the system is not directly connected to a Datasphere or DI.
Note 2: 'Central SAP Note Number' will auto display the respective SAP Note according to the system Release/version. For more information, please refer to Section #5 of SAP Note 2890171 - SAP Data Intelligence / SAP Datasphere - ABAP Integration
Note 3: If the error message "Note 0002890171; no entry for S4CORE/DMIS <version> FSP <nnnn>" (or a similar message)"  occurs, please refer to KBA 3651722 Error: “Note 0002890171; no entry for <software component> “ when using transaction CNV_NA_DI.
