Symptom
- When creating or editing items with a net price of 0 in the Manage Purchase Scheduling Agreements application, the system displays the error message:"Enter a valid net price"
- This error prevents saving or editing scheduling agreements containing items with a net price of 0.
- The issue occurs only in the Manage Purchase Scheduling Agreements application and does not occur in the Change Scheduling Agreement application.
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Reproducing the Issue
- Open the "Manage Purchase Scheduling Agreements" application.
- Create or edit a scheduling agreement.
- Add a new item with a net price of 0 or modify an existing item where the net price has been automatically set to 0 due to expired pricing conditions.
- Attempt to save the scheduling agreement.
- Observe the error message: "Enter a valid net price."
Cause
- The issue is caused by stricter validation logic introduced in the Manage Purchase Scheduling Agreements application after the 2502 upgrade.
- If the Invoice Receipt flag is enabled for a scheduling agreement, items with a net price of 0 are not permitted, resulting in the error message: Enter a valid net price.
Resolution
- Confirm whether the Invoice Receipt flag is enabled for the affected scheduling agreement.
- If the flag is enabled, consider the following options:
- Update the pricing condition to ensure a valid net price is maintained for all items in the scheduling agreement.
- Use the Change Scheduling Agreement application to edit or save scheduling agreements containing items with a net price of 0.
