Symptom
You have created and saved an outbound or inbound delivery that is relevant for distribution to a warehouse. There may be reasons why the delivery was saved but not distributed to the warehouse. Therefore, you need to monitor the distribution status of the delivery.
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Resolution
To display distribution relevant deliveries that have not yet been distributed to a warehouse, carry out one of the following procedures:
Displaying Inbound Deliveries
- Open the app Manage Inbound Deliveries - VL06I.
- Choose the For Distribution button.
- In the Time Data section, define a range for the delivery date as required.
- Select all inbound deliveries in status A (Relevant) or D (Planned for Distribution).
- Choose the Execute button. The system displays a list of inbound deliveries relevant for distribution but not yet distributed.
- To analyze why an inbound delivery was not yet distributed, you can double-click the corresponding delivery in the Delivery column and choose the Check Doc. Distribution/Distributed Document button.
- Select the inbound deliveries that you want to distribute and choose the Distribute button.
- The system displays a message indicating the number of deliveries that were successfully distributed and the number of deliveries with errors.
- Choose the Display Error Log button to display the error messages from the last distribution run.
- You can select the affected inbound deliveries and choose the Change Inbound Deliveries button to solve the issues related to the distribution.
Displaying Outbound Deliveries
- Open the app Manage Outbound Deliveries - VL06O.
- Choose the For Distribution button.
- In the Time Data section, define a range for the delivery date as required.
- Select all outbound deliveries in status A (Relevant) or D (Planned for Distribution).
- Choose the Execute button. The system displays a list of outbound deliveries relevant for distribution but not yet distributed.
- To analyze why an outbound delivery was not yet distributed, you can double-click the corresponding delivery in the Delivery column and choose the Check Doc. Distribution/Distributed Document button.
- Select the outbound deliveries that you want to distribute and choose the Distribute button.
- The system displays a message indicating the number of deliveries that were successfully distributed and the number of deliveries with errors.
