Symptom
Import termination details for a manager, after the termination record is saved successfully, check the subordinates' manager is not changed.

Reproducing the Issue
- Import Termination Details for a manager
- Check the termination record is saved for the manager
- Check his/her subordinate's Job Information, no manager change record is inserted.
Cause
Setting Up Follow-Up Processes after Imports
There are some follow-up processes that must be set up before they can run after changes you make through imports. However, if you've been a customer of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Position Management before the 1H 2025 release and when you’ve set one of the follow-up processes on the Position Management Settings Import tab to yes, you don't need to create the HrisSLEventPublishConfig MDF object, but system creates the HrisSLEventPublishConfig object for you.
Resolution
- Go to Manage Permission Roles<Select the role <Miscellaneous Permissions
- Grant view and edit permission to "Centralized Services HRIS Event Publishing Configuration"
- Go to Manage Data, search if "Centralized Services HRIS Event Publishing Configuration" data exists
- If the "Centralized Services HRIS Event Publishing Configuration" does not exist, create a new one with
- External Code: HrisSLEventPublishConfig
- Effective Status: Active
- Enable Event Publish: Yes
- If the "Centralized Services HRIS Event Publishing Configuration" exists, make sure its:
- External Code: HrisSLEventPublishConfig
- Effective Status: Active
- Enable Event Publish: Yes
This applies to auto change "To Be Hired" field in position after position transfer via Job Information Import as well.
