Symptom
One-Time Payments are deleted when an employee is rehired with old employment.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding
Reproducing the Issue
- An employee has One-Time Payments maintained from previous employment.
- Rehire the employee with old employment.
- Observe that previously maintained One-Time Payments are deleted.
Cause
Configuration of Manage Data > Hire/Rehire Configuration > Default Compensation Information during rehire is set to "No".
Resolution
- Navigate to "Manage Data" in the system.
- Select "Hire/Rehire Configuration" and choose the standard configuration (MATCHINGUSERCONFIG).
- Click "Take Action" and select "Make Correction".
- Update the field "Default Compensation Information during rehire" to "Yes".
- Save the changes.
- Test the configuration with a new candidate to confirm the resolution.
