Symptom
Reason for status field opens even if no reason for a status is configured or available
Environment
SAP Sales Cloud and SAP Service Cloud Version 2
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to Navigation Menu
- Go to Leads
- Open any Lead
- Click Set Status on top
- Set a status (Eg Open)
- The reason for status pops up
- The dropdown is blank
- Go to User Menu
- Go to Settings
- Go to All Settings
- Go to Leads
- Go to Reason for Status
- For a particular Internal Status (Eg open), no reason for status is configured
- You expect that since there is no reason for status configured, the reason for status field should not pop up while setting that particular status (Eg Open)
Resolution
This is the current system behaviour. The reason for status will pop up even if no reason for status is configured for the respective status.
