3643860 - Configuration adjustment for enabling transaction type 200 of product type 55A as a 'Deposit at notice' in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• Enable "Deposit at notice" for product type 55A.
• The instrument tool required for "variable rate" and "no end date" is unavailable for transaction type 200 (borrowing) under product type 52B (deposit at notice).
• Transaction type 200 (borrowing) is not available for product type 52B, which only supports transaction type 100 (investing).

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Attempt to configure product type 52B (deposit at notice) for transaction type 200 (borrowing).
2. Observe that transaction type 200 is unavailable for product type 52B.

Product type 52B is not configured to support transaction type 200 (borrowing).

1. Navigate to the configuration activity "Define Product Types - MM Transactions".
2. Locate product type 55A and update its parameter 'Term Category'.
3. Change the value of 'Term Category' from 'Fixed Term' to 'Undefined'.
4. Save the configuration changes.
5. After completing the configuration, transaction type 200 for product type 55A can be used as a 'deposit at notice'. Undefined mean either 'deposit at notice' or 'fixed term'.
