3644005 - Unable to start the Tricentis.SapSolutionMangerService - Tricentis

Symptom

  • The "Tricentis.SapSolutionManagerService" fails to start with an error:
    "Windows could not start the Tricentis.SapSolutionManagerService service on Local Computer.
    Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion"

  • In the Windows Event Viewer following exception is logged for the failed start of the service:
    ".. Exception Info: System.TypeInitializationException: The type initializer for 'SAP.Middleware.Connector.RfcConfigParameters' threw an exception.
     ---> System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'C:\Program Files (x86)\TRICENTIS\Tosca Server\SapSolutionManagerService\sapnco_utils.dll'. The specified module could not be found.
    File name: 'C:\Program Files (x86)\TRICENTIS\Tosca Server\SapSolutionManagerService\sapnco_utils.dll' .."
