Symptom
- Users are unable to determine how to enter serial numbers in the replacement application "Manage Outbound Delivery Orders".
- Error message "/SCWM/DLV_SERIAL103" appears when attempting to post goods issue without assigning serial numbers.
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Reproducing the Issue
- Open the "Manage Outbound Delivery Orders" app.
- Attempt to process an outbound delivery with confirmed warehouse tasks.
- Try to post goods issue without assigning serial numbers.
- Observe the error message "/SCWM/DLV_SERIAL103".
Cause
The serial numbers were not added at the document level in the "Manage Outbound Delivery Orders" app before attempting to post goods issue.
Resolution
- Open the "Manage Outbound Delivery Orders" app.
- Switch to Edit Mode.
- Navigate to the Item Detail page.
- In the "Serial Numbers" section, enter a serial number in the empty row provided. Additional empty rows will appear after each input, allowing multiple serial numbers to be entered consecutively.
- Press "Apply" to close the Item Detail page.
- Press "Save" to complete the assignment of serial numbers.
- Proceed to post the goods issue.
