3644534 - Requirement type not automatically determined on sales order creation

The necessary customizing has been maintained for requirement type determination on the configuration activity 'Determine Requirement Type by Item Category and MRP type' (ID: 105120) and the material master has also been configured properly. However, on sales order creation, the requirement type is not automatically determined as expected. 

Although the requirement type field is blank, on the value help, the correct requirement type is shown as available for selection.
