Symptom
- Only one application from merged candidates with multiple applications is showing in the New Applicant Management Experience
- Multiple applications are shown for the same merged candidate in the Legacy Candidate Workbench

Reproducing the Issue
- Candidate John Smith creates a Candidate Profile and applies to Job Requisition #123
- Candidate John Smith creates a second Candidate Profile and applies to Job Requisition #123 using this new Candidate Profile
- These profiles are identified as duplicates and are manually merged
- In the Legacy Workbench, Recruiters can see 2 Applications from John Smith
- In the New Applicant Management Experience, Recruiters can see just 1 Application from John Smith
Resolution
When merging Candidate profiles, one profile is designated as the primary and the other as secondary. Applications linked to the primary Candidate are retained as the primary applications.
Following the Candidate Merge, the New Applicant Management Experience filters out all secondary applications. This is by design to reduce the number of applications to only those that Recruiters have to process.
