3644564 - Save button is not appearing in simulation mode in Create Billing Documents app - SAP S/4HANA Cloud

Symptom

The save button is not visible in simulation mode in Create Billing Documents - billing due list.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud, public edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the Create Billing Documents - billing due list app
  2. Choose any document and click 'simulate' button. Then come back to the previous screen
  3. Observe that the 'save' button is not visible, only 'execute'

Cause

A correction was made in 2508 release, and now this is the system standard behavior. 

Resolution

In simulation mode, saving the document is not allowed, as per the system design. If saving functionality is required, ensure the system is not in simulation mode.
