3644674 - Social learning tab not retrieving results in learning

Symptom

  • The "Social Learning" tab within the SAP SuccessFactors Learning library does not retrieve results.
  • The following error message is displayed: "We could not authenticate your user to SAP Jam to retrieve Social Learning results. Please check your access and try again."

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Integrate SAP SuccessFactors Learning with SAP WorkZone.
  2. Navigate to the "Social Learning" tab within the legacy learning UI.
  3. Attempt to retrieve search results.
  4. Observe that no results are displayed, and the error message appears.

Cause

The ENABLE_WORKZONE_INTEGRATION flag was not enabled in the system configuration.

Resolution

  1. Confirm that the ENABLE_WORKZONE_INTEGRATION flag is required for the integration to function correctly.
  2. Obtain approval from the customer and the engineering manager to enable the flag.
  3. Execute the necessary script to enable the ENABLE_WORKZONE_INTEGRATION flag in the database.
  4. Clear the browser cache and cookies.
  5. Verify that the "Social Learning" tab now retrieves results successfully.
