3644767 - Access denied when the user tries to delete a story report schedule

Symptom

“Access Denied” message when user is trying to delete an inactive story schedule from View Schedules

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
  • SAP SuccessFactors People Analytics

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Navigate to Reporting --> View Schedules
  2. Make a story schedule inactive by clicking Cancel
  3. Delete inactive schedule
  4. "Access denied" message will appear

Cause

User is missing View All Schedules permission

Resolution

Add View All Schedules permission under Manage Dashboards / Reports for user to be able to delete an inactive schedule of Story report.

Note: this permission is not needed to delete Canvas or Table report schedule
