3644879 - Error status 3 received while converting user - Onboarding

• Error status 3 received while converting users: "Affected User ID".
• ConvertExternalUserOnStartDateJob fails in provisioning.

• SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Run the ConvertExternalUserOnStartDateJob in provisioning.
2. Observe the job status is failed

• Please check out to support to check the backend logs to identify the user causing the failure
• If Error status 3 received while converting user error is seen they could have two onboarding processes with open status, one from original employment and now new process for rehire.
• Original process was never archived and changed to process status of closed

1. Navigate to Manage Data > Process > Search for affected user IDs
2. Open each process
3. Change Process Status to Completed for the oldest process
4. Run the ConvertExternalUserOnStartDateJob again
5. Candidates should be converted
6. Prevent Future Errors:
   1. Review and update the archive rule to ensure older processes are archived.
   2. Refer to: KBA 3192452 for guidance on archiving rules.
