Symptom

Candidates initiated from an external applicant tracking system (ATS) are not visible in the onboarding dashboard.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Initiate onboarding for a candidate from the External Applicant Tracking System (ATS);
  2. Attempt to view the candidate in the onboarding dashboard;
  3. Observe that the candidate does not appear in the onboarding dashboard.

Cause

Onboarding was not fully initiated from the External Applicant.

Resolution

The Onboarding initiation is placed within three steps:

  1. Onboardee creation;
  2. Upsert the data;
  3. Initiate onboarding.
