Symptom
Opportunity status does not update to Won when a sales order is created from the Opportunity.
Environment
SAP Cloud for Customer
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to the Business Configuration work center
- Go to the Implementation Project work center view
- Click Edit Project Scope
- In the step 4 Questions, navigate to Sales => New Business => Opportunities
- Enable the question "Do you want to automatically set the status of an opportunity to ‘Won" when a sales order is associated with it?" in Close Opportunities
- Go to Sales work center
- Go to the Opportunities work center view
- Create an Opportunity
- Go to the Sales Document facet
- Create a Sales Order from the Opportunity
- Check the Status
Result: The status is still Open
Expected Result: The status is Won.

Resolution
Use the Custom Status for Opportunities, or wait to use the functionality until HFC02 - 20 Sep 2025.
