3645391 - "Set Opportunity to Won" When a Sales Order is Created does NOT Work

Opportunity status does not update to Won when a sales order is created from the Opportunity.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Go to the Business Configuration work center
2. Go to the Implementation Project work center view
3. Click Edit Project Scope
4. In the step 4 Questions, navigate to Sales => New Business => Opportunities
5. Enable the question "Do you want to automatically set the status of an opportunity to ‘Won" when a sales order is associated with it?" in Close Opportunities
6. Go to Sales work center
7. Go to the Opportunities work center view
8. Create an Opportunity
9. Go to the Sales Document facet
10. Create a Sales Order from the Opportunity
11. Check the Status

Result: The status is still Open

Expected Result: The status is Won.

• This is a new feature since the 2508 upgrade, and it is only available for Custom Status.
• The function will become available after HFC02 - 20 Sep 2025

Use the Custom Status for Opportunities, or wait to use the functionality until HFC02 - 20 Sep 2025.
