3645406 - Auditing page is not opening from CMC

CMS Database was restored over from one system to another system for some testing as suggested in KBA 1275068.  After following instructions in the KBA and creating a new node, and updating Auditing database connectivity, the following behavior is noticed - 

• Error in  CMC> Auditing page 'while trying to invoke the method com.businessobjects.sdk.plugin.desktop.common.IMetrics.size() of a null object loaded from local variable 'metrics'
• End to end traces were collected which show following error thrown by CMC webapp logs 
  |The resource of type "Document" with identifier "NNNNNNNNNNN" is not available (This document requires version 14.3.4.0  of Web Intelligence and cannot be opened by version 14.3.3.4562. (WIS 30674)).

• other error repeatedly thrown by CMC webapp logs on audit.jsp -

  org.apache.jasper.JasperException: java.lang.NullPointerException: while trying to invoke the method java.util.Collection.toArray() of a null object loaded from local variable 'c'
