3645551 - Use a New Tab Instead of Logoff under SAML SSO in SAP BusinessObjects BI platform4.x

Symptom

  • After successfully logging into SAP BI 4.x via SAML SSO, clicking the "Logoff" button may trigger unexpected issues:
  1. Http 500 error
  2. Page could not found error
  3. Session expired error
  • Even if you successfully return to the homepage after logging off, you may still be able to log in directly without a password due to IDP session issues.
