Symptom

  • Performance degradation observed during the execution of the phase RUN_RUTDDLSCREATE in the Software Update Manager (SUM) tool for SAP ERP.

  • The following 3 tables are doing "Sequential Read of DB" from SM66 by program RADBTDDF:

    DD27S
    DD04L 
    DD01L

  • From SQL execution plan, the correct index of each table is being used.
