3645649 - Error: "You don't have the right to refresh this document. (IES 10801)"  occurs when refreshing a webi document in BI Launchpad

Symptom

  • The below error occurs when refreshing a webi document based on a shared excel file in BI Launchpad:
    "You don't have the right to refresh this document. (IES 10801)"
  • The issue started to occur to occur after upgrading to BusinessObjects BI 4.3 SP5.
  • The same document is refreshed correctly in WEBI rich client.
