3646084 - phone number format mismatch error in e-verify case submission: CaseCreatorPhoneNumber must match the regular expression '^\\d\{10\}

Symptom

  • Error message: "E-Verify encountered data errors. Please contact Technical Support with the following error details: CaseCreatorPhoneNumber: The field CaseCreatorPhoneNumber must match the regular expression '^\\d\{10\}'."
  • Submission of E-Verify case is blocked due to the mismatch.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

Resolution

Actually CaseCreatorPhoneNumber  is the Submitter’s Phone Number under Compliance Settings >> E-Verify Configuration.

  1. Navigate to Compliance Settings >> E-Verify Configuration.
  2. Update the Submitter’s Phone Number field to a 10-digit numeric format.
  3. Refresh the OData metadata cache.
  4. Resubmit the E-Verify case.
