3646145 - Error "SyntaxError: JSON.parse: expected xxxxxx at line N column M of the JSON data (line 107 position 1 in /sap/hana/xs/lm/core/Configuration.xsjslib)"

Symptom

During configuration of CTS+ in HALM, the RFC connection on CTS server to HANA Databases failed with 500 error.

The test connection of the RFC connection failed with below similar texts.

Status HTTP Response    500
Status Text                    Internal Server Error
Test Call Duration           xxx ms 

From the indexserver trace of the connected HANA Database, below error messages were monitored.
