3646326 - Partner Selection Pop-Up not appear in Manage Purchase Orders (PO) App While Creating PO

• Partner selection pop-up does not appear in the "Manage Purchase Orders" app while creating a Purchase Order (PO).

• System skips the pop-up even when multiple partners are available for selection and default partner not marked in Business Partner (BP).

1. Maintain Business Partner (BP) with multiple partner roles with same partner functions under partner function. (Example two OA or two PI or two GS as shown below).
   
2. Make sure default partner function not marked.  
3. Open "Manage Purchase Orders" app and create Purchase order with same BP.
4. No pop-up will come to select any of partner function role while creating PO. 

The Manage Purchase Orders app does not currently support a partner selection pop-up due to technical complexity. 

• Currently app "Manage Purchase Orders" done not support partner selection pop-up option for partners roles.
• Adding the pop-up is quite understandable from a business point of view, but unfortunately, it is complex from a technical point of view. Therefore Development team had decided to deliver the feature first without the pop-up.

As a workaround, the "Create Purchase Order – Advanced" app can be used.
This app supports additional functions, including the ability to handle partner selection scenarios that are not available in the "Manage Purchase Orders app". 

Steps to be followed to select the desired partner role: 

1. Open the “Create Purchase Order – Advanced” app.
2. Provide all required fields such as Supplier, Organizational details, Material, Net Price, etc.
3. Press Enter – the system will display a pop-up to select the desired partner role if multiple partner functions are maintained for the same partner role.
