3646396 - Item order in Opportunity and External Quote is different

When you create an External Quote from an Opportunity than the Item Order might be different in the Sales Documents. 

• SAP Sales Cloud and SAP Service Cloud Version 2 integration with SAP ERP.
• SAP Sales Cloud and SAP Service Cloud Version 2 integration with SAP S/4HANA.

 When you create an External Quote from an Opportunity you observe that the Item Order might be different in the Sales Documents. 

Expected behaviour.

This is intentional. Opportunity can have many items and during quote follow-up any items can be selected in random example 1st, 4th and 11th. If line no is mapped then in S/4 quote line numbers will be very random. 

Let' say opportunity has 5 items, and for 1 quote you select 2nd and 4th item and other quote you select 1st and 5ht element if we map the line no to sales quote in S/4 the quote item numbers will be 20 and 40 for one and 10 and 50 for other. So we don't map it in standard and as mentioned but if you still wants you could map it in the exit.
