Symptom
- Users who have access to the story are not able to see it in the folder.
- The story is appearing in the "Recent Stories" but not in the designated folder.
- The same users are not able to see the folder which they have access to.
- The owner of the story is not able to see the story in the right folder and also some folders.
- Access is already present for the user on top of the folder.
Environment
SAP ANALYTICS CLOUD 2025.8.13
Reproducing the Issue
- Login to SAC.
- Navigate to Files / My Files
- Notice that story is not present over there despite being visible in Recent Stories section.
Cause
The "Shared with Me" filter might be active, restricting the visibility of certain files and folders.
Resolution
The issue can be resolved by changing the filter from "Shared with Me" to "All Files," which restored visibility of the missing stories and folders.
