Symptom

ODATA services Connections based on Datasphere sometimes failed to connect when creating model.

Below error can be observed from HAR trace:

Environment

  • SAP Analytics Cloud 2025.14.8 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. User A and User B, both have same access in SAC and in Datasphere space; User A and User B are using different computers;
  2. User A create the connection in SAC (ODATA connection to a query in Datasphere)
  3. User A share the connection with user B
  4. User B tries to the use connection (either update it posting the secret again or loading DS data to a SAC dimension) -> SUCCESS!
  5. User A logout from system; 
  6. User B tries to the use connection (either update it by posting the secret again or load the data to a dimension) -> FAILED!
  7. User A log in SAC again
  8. User B tries to the use connection (either update it by posting the secret again or load the data to a dimension) -> SUCCESS!
