3646776 - PR created from Project Demand has incorrect document type

• When generating Purchase Requisitions (PR) from Project Demand in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition, all PRs are created with document type NB.
• The business requirement is to differentiate PR document types as follows: For example, material requirements- PR should be created with document type Z1 and For service requirements- PR should be created with document type Z2.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

The default document type NB is hardcoded in the standard behavior for PRs generated from Project Systems (PS).

1. Differentiating PR document types (e.g., Z1 for materials, Z2 for services) at the time of PR creation from Project Demand is not supported in the current setup.
2. If this is a critical business requirement, submit a request via the SAP Customer Influence Portal to make PR document type determination flexible (e.g., via SSCUI configuration or extensibility).
