3646886 - SAP IBP: Use Default Values Shows Incorrect Job Parameter Values

Symptom

When running an application job of type Data Integration Using SAP Cloud Integration for data services, also called CIDS or CPI-DS, it is now possible to define default values for the job parameters in the global configuration parameters of SAP Integrated Business Planning (SAP IBP). For example, users can specify a default agent name or agent group and these default values will be used in any job run where the Use Default Values option is selected in the job parameters. For more information, see Enhancements to Data Integration Using SAP Cloud Integration for Data Services Jobs on SAP Help Portal.

The Use Default Values feature seems to work correctly when new data integration jobs run; however, the job parameters may be incorrect when subsequently displayed in the application job details. For example, the default value of the Agent Name global parameter is Alice, but when the value is displayed in the application job details, the job parameter Agent Name has the value Bob instead.

It is therefore unclear whether the default values were used during the job run.
