Symptom

When attempting to filter data with Document ID in a story report, a system error occurs: "The members can't be loaded due to a technical error."

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Edit a story report in People Analytics.
  2. Filter data selecting Dimension -> Document ID ->  Filter by member 
  3. Search for the ID and observe the system error message: "The members can't be loaded due to a technical error."

Cause

In Settings, the filter was configured to use "Description" instead of "ID," which is the expected behavior for this setup.

Resolution

  1. Open the story report where the issue occurs.
  2. Navigate to the filter settings for Document ID.
  3. In the "Member Labels" section, select "ID" instead of "Description."
  4. Search for the required ID.
  5. Click "OK" to save the changes.
