Symptom

During the migration of legacy asset posting data, error message AU134 - 'System could not find an account for account symbol '&2' in area &3' appears after simulation.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open Migrate Your Data app.
  2. Upload the data migration file.
  3. Confirm the Mapping Tasks.
  4. Simulate the migration.
  5. Review the error messages generated during simulation.

Cause

Missing configuration for the legacy takeover offsetting account (KTLDT) / The relevant account has not been maintained in the Manage G/L Master Data app.

Resolution

Maintain the account assignment (KTLDT) with the corresponding G/L accounts in SSCUI Assign G/L Accounts (102622) and ensure that the G/L account is maintained in the Manage G/L Master Data app.
