• System throws error while canceling inbound delivery ID
  • Error while canceling confirmation item
  • Error while creating or updating follow-up document
  • Action failed
  • Deviation reported; accept deviation or process remaining quantity

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Inbound Logistics workcenter.
2. Go to the Inbound Deliveries view.
3. Locate relevant inbound delivery ID
4. Attempt to cancel relevant inbound delivery and observe the following errors:

• • Error while canceling confirmation item
  • Error while creating or updating follow-up document
  • Action failed
  • Deviation reported; accept deviation or process remaining quantity

Deviation acceptance is pending for inbound delivery ID against the relevant put-away task ID which prevents the system from canceling the inbound delivery.

1. Navigate to the Inbound Logistics work center.
2. Access the Monitoring view.
3. Select the "Work" option.
4. Locate the deviation associated against task ID or relevant inbound delivery ID
5. Choose "Accept Deviation."
6. Return to the Inbound Deliveries view.
7. Locate inbound delivery ID and choose Cancel.
