• The colors of the chart will change unexpectedly in the story in SAC.
• The behavior can be triggered with the steps:
  1. first applying a bookmark,
  2. and after this step switching the pages and back.

SAP Analytics Cloud 2025.14.08

1. Login to SAC.
2. Open the story.
3. Create a bookmark. => OK, data will load, chart colors as expected.
4. Switch to next story page. => OK, data will load, chart colors as expected.
5. Go back to the initial page. => OK, data will load, chart colors as expected.
6. Save the story and close it.
7. Re-open the story.
8. Apply the bookmark created before. => OK, data will load, chart colors as expected.
9. Switch to next story page. => OK, data will load, chart colors as expected.
10. Go back to the initial page. => NOT OK, data will load, but chart colors will change unexpectedly.

The issue is caused by a defect in the product.

• The issue is fixed in a future** version of SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Please refer to maintenance document.

  ** in version 2025.21. for customers on a bi-weekly (fast track) release cycle.
  ** in Q4 for customers on a Quarterly release cycle (QRC).
