3647295 - Data Source Only Displays One Exception Type for Supplier Invoice

The “Supplier Invoice and Supplier Invoice Exception Analysis” data source only shows one exception, even when the invoice has multiple exceptions.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Business Analytics WorkCentre.
2. Go to Data Sources view.
3. Search “Supplier Invoice and Supplier Invoice Exception Analysis” Data source, select and Click Preview.
4. In the selection tab, Enter the Supplier invoice ID XYZ in Invoice ID field and click Apply.
5. In the View tab, select the rows you need to display and click Execute.
6. It shows only one exception (eg: Price variance) from the Supplier invoice.
7. In the selection tab, in Exception type field, Search an exception other than Price variance present in the invoice and click Apply .
8. Now you can see other exceptions after using filters.

The data source contains Key Figures under Column Fields. When used in the view, they suppress repeated key values, so only one entry is displayed. After removing Key Figures, all exceptions are visible.

This is the system behaviour. To check all the exceptions in Data Source, uncheck all the key figure columns in Data Source, then you are able to see all the exception related to the Supplier invoice.

After the Data Source is opened, follow the below Steps :

1. In the Selection tab, Enter the Supplier invoice ID in the Invoice ID field.
2. Go to the View tab.
3. Navigate to Column Fields.
4. Click the 3 dots icon near Key figures.
5. Click on Key Figure Settings.
6. Select all the Checkbox under “Selected”.
7. Click on the << symbol.
8. Click Ok.
9. Select the Execute button.
10. Now all the exceptions in the Supplier Invoice will be shown.
