3648074 - There is no Option to Create a New Contact Within an Opportunity Quick Create Screen

Symptom

It is not possible to create new contact directly from the quick create screen of an opportunity.

Environment

SAP Sales Cloud and SAP Service Cloud Version 2.
SAP Sales Cloud Version 2.
SAP Service Cloud Version 2.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to the Guided Selling from the Navigation Menu.
  2. Click on + button to create New Opportunity.
  3. In the New Opportunity quick create screen, there is no option to directly create a new contact.

Cause

Once the opportunity is created then in the Contact section of the General tab, you can create New Contact. But currently we have no option to create new contact within quick create screen of an opportunity.

Resolution

This is the current system behavior.
