Symptom
- Ownership expiry date is not resetting when a candidate is forwarded to a requisition after the ownership period has expired.
- Ownership expiry date remained unchanged
- Validation error occurs due to incorrect ownership expiry date being sent during synchronization.
- The candidate was forwarded to a requisition by the agency after the ownership had expired. Although the ownership start date was updated, the ownership end date remained unchanged.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management
Cause
The option "Reset ownership clock with newest submission" is disabled in the system settings.
Resolution
- Enable the option "Reset ownership clock with newest submission" in the system settings.
- Verify that the ownership expiry date resets correctly based on the latest candidate submission.
- The expiry date isn't getting changed is because the option "Reset ownership clock with newest submission" is disabled. If this option is disabled, the expiry remains based on the original submission date. If enabled, the ownership period resets from the date of the latest submission, effectively extending expiry.
