• Linked Analysis function fails to trigger on chart widgets for classical stories in SAP Analytics Cloud.
• The error message displayed is:[Application Error]:Syntax error, unrecognized expression:    

• SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2025.14.9 

1. Log in to SAP Analytics Cloud.
2. Access the story in edit mode.
3. Select a Chart.
4. Click on the menu option "Linked Analysis".
5. Observe the error message: [Application Error]:Syntax error, unrecognized expression:
