3648191 - Data Change Log Notifications are sent to users who do not have access to Data Change Log

• In QRC3 version, in Data Change Log Notifications settings, the options available to determine the recipients who will receive the notifications are:
  - Model owners
  - Users with full control access to models
  - Users with "Delete" permission for data change logs
  - Custom
• Users, who do not belong to any of these categories, receive the notifications.

SAP Analytics Cloud QRC3 version (2025.14.8)

1. In QRC3 version, Data Change Log Notifications new feature is enabled by default.
2. The options checked by default to determine the recipients who will receive the notifications are:
   - Model owners
   - Users with full control access to models
   - Users with "Delete" permission for data change logs
3. Users, who do not belong to any of these categories, receive the notifications.

• Our Development team has identified the cause to the issue: the third option in configuring who receives the notification: Users with "Delete" permission of data change log is not working as expected due to the permission check. We will let you know the availability of the fix as soon as it is finalized.

• Meanwhile, if you want to use the notification feature, you can select the other options and leave this option unchecked and the relevant users can receive the notification as expected.
