3648374 - Incorrect opening and closing balances and bank statement number when creating manual bank statement - S/4HANA Public Cloud

Symptom

Since 2508 when user creates manual bank statement by selecting "Create Next" button in Manage Bank Statements app, the bank statement number, opening and closing balances are displayed incorrectly.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open Manage Bank Statements app.
  2. Select the correct Company Code and House Bank Account.
  3. Select the bank statement.
  4. Select "Create Next" to create the next statement.
  5. Observe that the system generates a new template with a different bank statement number and an incorrect opening, closing balance.

Cause

Known regression issue after 2508 upgrade. The system is generating incorrect draft bank statements.

Resolution

The issue will be fixed via HFC06 (September 19-21). Until the hotfix please correct the incorrect data manually.
