3648396 - Library Search by Date Returns Items With No Available Classes

When filtering for Upcoming Classes or  classes from Start Date, classes outside the start date selected are displayed

3. On Filters, select "Upcoming Classes" to ON and filter by start date >
4. Items with no classes available and classes outside start date selected are displayed in the results

After investigating, the Engineering team identified that these items should be displayed in the search results because its classes are available that has a future start date but the registration date has passed.  

They seem to be wrongly displayed because the classes for which the registration period has passes are currently not displayed at the item details level, however, if you check on Learning Admin, you can verify that all the items have classes associated which fall under the category filtered by.

Search presents the desired state where items with a future start date or a future registration date are appearing in the search results. 

If you would like to be able to see classes with closed registration dates or for these items to not be shown when looking for upcoming classes in a future release, you can create an enhancement request as explained in the KBA 2090228 - How to Submit Enhancement Requests for SAP SuccessFactors Products. All enhancement requests are reviewed by our Product Management team and, if successful, are developed and implemented in a future product release.
