3648510 - Standard field 'Start Date' value disappears from application - successfactors recruiting

• A field value for Start Date disappears from the job application after submission.
• The field is visible and filled during the initial application process but appears blank when the application is reopened.
• The issue is visible in both the candidate's view and the recruiter's view.

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

1. Candidate completes the job application, including all the mandatory fields
2. Submit the application.
3. Navigate to "My Profile" and access the "Jobs Applied" section.
4. Open the submitted job application.
5. Observe that the mandatory field 'startDate' field value is missing.
6. In the Bizx instance, as any operator, open the req and Open the Candidate Job Application
7. The mandatory field 'startDate' field value is missing.
8. If the Candidate edits the application and enters the value for the 'startDate' and saves the application , then the value gets saved and is visible for both candidate and the operator.

The field 'startDate' is a standard field that should not be available for candidates to fill during the initial application process.

In the RCM implementation guide too it is documented that the field should be set as public = false which means the field should not be available for the candidate while applying for the Job initially. Once the application is created, if the candidate edits his application and enters value to the 'startDate' field, then it will reflect in the application for both Candidates and the Operators.
