3648671 - Unable to delete Routing Header via API due to error "Changes discarded due to errors" - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

When using API_PRODUCTION_ROUTING to delete Routing Header, below real error occurred:

CPCL 017: Plan can only be changed with a change number

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

The routing has already been changed with a change number, which sets the change number indicator. Due to this history requirement, delete Routing Header without change number is not applicable for such cases.

Refer to "Example With Change Number" as mentioned in Delete Production Routing Header (Version 2) , It is necessary to select POST method instead of DELETE method.
